My child is starting nursery soon. What education support will be available to them?

If your child has started nursery and you have concerns about the support they're receiving, ask for a meeting with the nursery and the Sensory Visual Impairment Service.

Talk though your concerns and ask them to explain how they are supporting your child's needs. The Sensory Visual Impairment Service may need to put in some training for staff, or it could be a matter of how support is organised. At the end of the meeting, ensure there is a record of what is agreed and a follow up meeting date arranged.
