Where can I borrow audio books from?

Our digital library service RNIB Overdrive lets you borrow and download up to six books at a time from our collection of over 20,000 titles that you can listen to on your computer, tablet or smartphone.

Our Talking Books Service allows you to borrow up to six books at a time from a selection of over 23,000 titles for adults and children.  Books are available on Daisy CD or USB stick, Daisy CDs require a Daisy player or Daisy software on your computer, USB sticks can be played using a USB player or on your computer. 

Many public libraries have audio book and magazine collections on CD or cassette available for loan for a small fee. Blind and partially sighted people are often exempt from these fees, so please check with your library. Some libraries also now offer an on line service from which you are able to download audio books or eBooks.  This varies across the UK so check with your local library for more information.
