How do I tell the time with little or no sight?

There are a number of different ways you can do this depending on your preferences and how much sight you have. You could use a watch or clock that:

  • talks – you press a button and it tells you the time
  • is tactile – so you can feel where the hands and numbers are
  • is easy to see - has a clear face with large numbers.

Some watches and clocks automatically set themselves to the correct date and time, and some have useful built in calendar and alarm features.

We sell a range of different clocks and watches through our online shop. We also have a range available to try in our Resource Centre at Judd Street, London.
