How do I tell the time with little or no sight?

There are a number of different ways to do this depending on your preferences and how much sight you have. You could use a watch or clock that:

  • talks – you press a button and it tells you the time
  • is tactile – so you can feel where the hands and numbers are
  • is easy to see.

Some of these watches and clocks automatically set the date and time out of the box, and some also have useful built in calendar and alarm features.

We sell a range of different clocks and watches through our shop. We also have a range available to try at our Resource Centre in Judd Street.
