I’m having trouble scrolling down the page on the RNIB website, what can I do?

Our website undergoes regular testing using the following browsers:

Windows

  • Internet Explorer 9 and 10
  • Chrome 33
  • Firefox 28
  • Opera 20

Mac

  • Chrome 33
  • Firefox 28
  • Safari 7
  • Opera 20

Mobile

  • Apple iOS - Safari 6 on iOS6 and Safari 7 on iOS7
  • Android - Default web browser and Chrome 33

You may experience issues with scrolling if you are using an older browser (Internet Explorer 8 and below,  IE 11, Safari 9, Opera 34) and should consider upgrading or switching provider.

You could also try this solution:

  • Go to the 'Tools' menu in your browser and ensure that the 'Compatibility View' option is unchecked.
  • If the problem persists go to the ‘Tools’ menu, click on ‘Compatibility view settings’ and ensure that the ‘Display all websites compatibility mode’ option is unchecked.
